We want everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use mirapps.com. This statement explains the standard we aim for, what we have done so far, what is not yet fully accessible, and how to reach us if something doesn't work for you.

1. Our commitment and the standard

We aim for the site to meet Israeli Standard IS 5568 (Part 1, 2023 edition), level AA, as required by the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013. The standard is based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. Where we can, we also aim for WCAG 2.1 level AA.

Our review is a self-review. The site has not yet been audited by a certified service-accessibility auditor. We keep working on the gaps listed in section 6.

2. What this statement covers

  • the English pages of mirapps.com, including the 620 automation example pages, Mira (the AI chat and voice assistant) and the call-back form;
  • the Hebrew page mirapps.com/landing;
  • the privacy, terms and accessibility pages, in English and Hebrew.

3. What we've done

  • Pages use headings and the standard page areas (header, main content, footer). Every page starts with a link that lets keyboard users skip straight to the main content.
  • Images that carry information have text alternatives, including the photo of our founder and the client logos, which screen readers announce by the client's name.
  • The animated illustrations on the home page and on each automation example give screen readers a short text description.
  • The home-page animation and every example animation have a pause button.
  • Animations and the moving strip of industries stop when your device's "reduce motion" setting is on, or when you choose "Pause motion" in our accessibility tool.
  • The layout adapts to phones, tablets and desktop screens.
  • The name and phone fields of the call-back form have visible labels.
  • New messages in the chat with Mira are announced to screen readers.
  • Each page declares its language: English pages as English, Hebrew pages as Hebrew, laid out right to left. On the Hebrew pages, the English site menu and footer are marked as English.

4. The accessibility tool

The accessibility button at the bottom of the screen opens a tool with these options: text size (four steps), high contrast, inverted colours, grayscale, highlighted links, a readable font, pause motion, a larger cursor and a reset.

  • The tool is available on every page of mirapps.com except the Hebrew page mirapps.com/landing. There, your browser's and device's own accessibility settings work as usual.
  • The tool helps, but it doesn't replace building the site accessibly.
  • Your settings are saved only in your browser.

5. Mira, the AI assistant, and voice chat

  • You can use Mira by typing (text chat) or by voice.
  • In text chat Mira writes in English. In voice chat she is set up to reply in the language you speak, including Hebrew.
  • Voice chat is speech only, with no captions or transcript. Text chat, email and phone are available as alternatives.
  • The chat window opens and closes with buttons that work from the keyboard.

6. Known limitations

These parts of the site are not yet fully accessible. We are working on them:

  • The moving strip of industries on the home page pauses when you hover with a mouse, but has no separate pause button for keyboard or touch users. It does stop with your device's "reduce motion" setting and with "Pause motion" in our accessibility tool.
  • The full-screen site menu can't yet be closed with the Escape key and isn't announced to screen readers as a dialog. It can be closed with its close button.
  • Voice chat with Mira is speech only (see section 5 for alternatives).
  • The 620 example pages share one template, and we have not tested each page individually.
  • The animations are illustrations: screen readers get a short description, not every detail shown on screen.

7. Physical accessibility

This statement covers the website. For accessibility arrangements at an in-person meeting, please contact our accessibility coordinator.

8. Accessibility coordinator

Our accessibility coordinator is Shahaf Miryamchick. You can reach him by email at shahaf@mirapps.com or by phone at +972 52-728-2769.

9. Reporting a problem or getting information another way

If something on the site isn't accessible to you, please tell our accessibility coordinator. It helps if you include:

  • the page address;
  • a short description of the problem;
  • the browser and device you used;
  • any assistive technology you use, such as a screen reader.

Any information on the site is also available on request by phone or email, in English or Hebrew. We will reply as soon as possible.
